Over the past 2 years 4Children has been working with the Department for Education, Local Authorities and providers to deliver a programme of support to the early years and childcare sector on business related issues and business management. These new seminars will add to this programme by giving delegates the opportunity to hear about and discuss some of the most pressing current issues in business planning and sustainability. The seminars will also provide some short training opportunities, as well as the opportunity to hear from various business advice organizations that support the sector.

At a time when budgets are becoming increasingly squeezed and good business skills are crucial for survival, these seminars will put delegates at the very forefront of new research and resource development, as well as provide an opportunity to learn from each other’s good practice and materials.
 

The objectives of the day will be:

•     Provide training and networking opportunities to improve business sustainability
•     Update delegates regarding policy developments and ways to prepare
•     Learn from good practice and share information on business skills support services

You will receive:

•     Information on the introduction of 2 year old funding and the impact on business planning and models
•     Information about 4Children’s support tools and training
•     Good practice advice and feedback from case studies

Due to the high interest in these free seminars we will regrettably be limiting the spaces to two per organization, if nearer the event the seminars are not full we will then consider rethinking this restriction.
