Childminding Development Worker (Birmingham)

Location: Birmingham Hours: 35 per week Salary: Up to £24,646 Per annum Closing date: 23 March 2014

4Children are currently looking for a pro-active and enthusiastic Childminding Development Worker for our Children’s Services in Birmingham.

The Job

As a passionate Childminding Development Worker you will work closely with our registered Childminders to develop and support their aim to deliver our ambitious projects. You will also work with potential, new, and existing registered Childminders to deliver a high quality childcare service. In addition, you will be responsible for the development and support of approved Childminding Network(s) to meet the requirements of local childcare parents.


The Person

  • With a Level 3 (or above) in Early Years Childcare and Education qualification, you will have relevant experience working in the early years sector.
  • You will also have an excellent Knowledge of current Early Years and Childcare sector issues and good practice, in conjunction with a sound understanding of development and educational needs of children.
  • Your excellent communication skills will allow you to engage and motivate a range of audiences.
