South West Family Hero - Jon Paul Oxley

Jon Paul has chronic Cystic fibrosis yet he still takes every day as it comes and does not let his illness get him down. He belongs to a site for sick children called ‘post pals’ and encourages other children to be positive and make the most of their lives despite their illnesses. In spite of all his admissions to hospital Jon Paul plays football for a disabled team and also referees.

He never gives in to his illness and shares his experiences with others to show them that you can still achieve a good standard of life even with Cystic Fibrosis.
