We are Ofsted registered and after a recent inspection were deemed as Good. Ofsted stated in the report ‘Children are respected and valued because staff recognise the uniqueness of each child’, and ‘children have lots of fun in a welcoming environment’.
Medstead Out of School Club is part of the 4Children Alton Buckle Partnership. The Club is open during term time Monday - Friday from 3.15 until 5.45pm.
We operate on a 1:8 ratio, across all the age ranges within the Out of School Club, ensuring that each child has a keyworker, the club is fully resourced and has all areas of learning and development set out as well as free flow into a fences area. Children can engage in activities of there choice, with a mixture of adult and child led activities. Children are listened to and valued within the Club which enables them to enjoy each session, feeling safe and secure. We work in partnership with parents taking into account their needs.
The club works in accordance to the EYFS and Play Work Principles, with suitable, vetted staff who are trained either early years or play work, providing a solid basis for a suitable play environment.
