Seven clubs worked with the Manchester School of Samba on Come and Play in 2003.

Since then Beth Bishop from the Greater Manchester Music Action Zone (GMMAZ) ran a training workshop for Come and Play playworkers in 2005 on the resource pack. 5 more clubs were given a resource pack and their playworkers were invited to attend the training session.
