4Children is currently advertising for the job role of Youth Worker - three positions

Salary: £13,014 pro rata (£4,290)
Location: Braintree, Witham and Halstead in Essex

Closing date: 7 August 2008


We are looking for three enthusiastic Youth Workers to join a dedicated, dynamic and innovative team supporting the Braintree district’s play strategy, including direct work with children and young people.

You will be highly motivated, qualified and experienced in youth work, well organised and able to work on your own initiative. Applicants should be at least level 3 qualified, with a commitment to continuing professional development. You will be an excellent team player and have the ability to motivate and enthuse young people. You will also possess an understanding of and the ability to respond to and accommodate the individual needs of children, young people and families.
