Project Winners

Each year The Philip Lawrence Awards reward outstanding achievements in good citizenship by young people aged 11 to 20.

Since 1997 over 100 groups have received a Philip Lawrence Award. The winners from 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 are listed in the menu on the right. The scheme has supported over 1,000 young people in the UK who are actively initiating, developing and delivering programmes of work to enhance their lives and the lives of others.

Sir Trevor McDonald, Chair of The Philip Lawrence Awards judging panel, said:
"The Philip Lawrence Awards offer winning projects the opportunity to receive extra recognition in their community and a boost to their own motivation and confidence. For some, winning a Philip Lawrence Award is just the start of a string of achievements, for others it’s a culmination of years of hard work."
