Described by a local head teacher as the golden thread that weaves all the children together, Kirti Kothari has worked as a childminder for more than 20 years, establishing herself as the centre of her local community in Brent. One of the children she cared for between the ages of five months to 12 years said: “She has had such a massive impact on my life and I know she has had this same impact on others. Thanks to her I have made many friends and Kirti is a second mum to me and an amazing person.”
