Unilever was chosen as this year’s winner because it invests in its employees. The Company is supporting its staff through innovative flexible working, family friendly policies and childcare support – including workplace nurseries offering subsidised nursery places to the children of employees, childminding support services and a childcare voucher scheme.

Unilever offers a free assistance programme to its staff and their families providing telephone and online advice about childcare provision, but also about wider issues such as care for the elderly, debt counselling and legal advice.
