Reach Out

4Children's ‘Reach Out’ project supports commissioners and children’s centres in delivering the biggest impact to disadvantaged families.

4Children’s ‘Reach Out’ project is helping children's centres improve the impact of their work with targeted, disadvantaged and vulnerable families.  An outcomes framework is being developed with the early years sector and inspired by 4Children's partnership work with Professor Marmot at UCL to develop An Equal Start - improving outcomes in children's centres.

The Peer Network (made up of 44 local authorities) and an editorial board of commissioners, children’s centre strategic managers, local centre managers and national agencies are working with 4Children to review and shape the draft framework. The intention is to start a nationwide trail in the new year.

If your local authority wants to be involved in the Peer Network and the trails and have not yet registered an interest, please contact john.alwyine-mosely@4children.org.uk for more information.
