North West Family Hero - Cameron Small

Cameron is a unique and inspirational young boy. He has been fighting a rare blood illness for over 12 years, but is also a very dedicated fundraiser.

It all started when he was 4 years old and he noticed a plaque on a TV in the hospital. He asked his father what this was for and when his father explained that it had been donated, he decided to raise funds to supply a TV for every bed in the ward. Since then he has raised over £115,000 but even more importantly he has told his story to other children and parents to show them that there is always hope no matter how hard life gets. Throughout all his treatments he has never complained and all he wants to do is help others.
