To Kim caring for people comes naturally. As a hard working mother of two, who juggles the care of her family and her work commitments, she struggled to secure the vital support needed for her son Archie who was born at 32 weeks, suffering from a bleed on the brain.

Kim was inspired to start the group ‘What makes you different makes you beautiful’ which supports local families with children who have autistic spectrum disorder, ADHD, Downs syndrome, special needs, learning difficulties, cerebral palsy and other neurodevelopmental needs.

She selflessly gives up her spare time to fundraise and strives to raise the profile of the group so more families are aware of the support available to them. Kim is not only a fantastic mum to her family, she is a mum to the Malvern community and all who use her group.
