Longfield Community Children’s Centre

Longfield Community Children’s Centre is located on Broadcloth Lane, on the site of Longmeadow School. It is a Sure Start centre that offers a range of free services for families with children under 5. These include:

  • Health Visitor Clinics
  • Groups for toddlers and preschoolers
  • Groups for babies

There is a programme of activities and support that deals with various topics including parenting, keeping safe, healthy living, returning to work, benefits and budgeting.

Family Practitioner 2’s can support you and your children in your home. They can offer practical advice and guidance to parents and carers. They understand that being a parent can be difficult and sometimes parents/carers may like or need some support to overcome challenges they may be facing.

FREE Groups at Longfield

  • Play and Learn and Drop in Stay and Play are fun sessions for under 5’s and their parents/carers.
  • Baby and You: A six week course for new parents, full of fun activities and information for you and your baby.
  • Baby Massage: A five week group for new parents to learn massage strokes to share with their baby and find out about the potential benefits baby.
